Qualifications

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing maintenance schedules, troubleshooting equipment failures, and implementing proactive strategies to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all plant machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and lifespan.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations related to mechanical operations.

Requirements

• B.Eng Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial plant maintenance and operations.
• Strong knowledge of heavy machinery, pumps, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is essential.
• Proven ability to lead maintenance teams and manage projects effectively.
