Job summary

FirstRand seeks a Relationship Analyst to support credit analysis and risk evaluation for lending decisions. This role focuses on delivering insightful analyses that align with client relationship strategy and sustainable growth, within a governance framework and data management standards.

The incumbent will assess credit data, support cross-selling opportunities, and contribute to exceptional customer experiences while adhering to the NCA and Golden Rules.

Qualifications

• Analytical with ability to interpret financial statements.
• Experience analyzing credit data and risk.
• Knowledge of governance, compliance with Golden Rules.
• 3-5 years banking experience.
• NCA credit record check requirement.

Responsibilities

• Analyse credit data to estimate degree of risk in extending credit or lending money in support of a broader client relationship
• Achieve the delivery of exceptional customer experience against the Balanced Scorecard standards
• Maximise Business Portfolio cross sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships
• Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements
• Ensure effective Data Management by ensuring expired limits are attended to against set target
• Prepare credit proposals for review by the Credit Product House
• Compliance with procedures and processes contained in the Golden Rules
