Life & Brand Portfolio is currently recruiting a Regional Training Manager for our Western Cape region. The ideal candidate should have a passion for operations and the restaurant industry. This is a Senior level position and candidates will be expected to work with a fair level of independence. Previous training experience is a must.

Overall Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.
• Facilitation of different classes.
• Facilitation of practical (in store) or theoretical classes (classroom).
• Writing of the course material for classes.
• Planning, scheduling and reporting of training for throughout the year.
• Includes internal and external training (sponsored training).
• New store opening training.
• Systems and procedure training with new joining managers.
• Tracking and meeting Workplace Skills Plan targets each year.
• Ensure all documents are ready for submission which takes place yearly in April.
• Manage and update training budget

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Relevant Business or Hospitality qualification;
• Related experience of 5 years;
• Must have knowledge and operational experience within the restaurant industry;
• Own reliable transport, drivers’ licence and ability to travel nationally;
• Curriculum and program design;
• Implementing learning solutions;
• Experience in delivering end-to-end learning programs;
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills;
• Accurate and meticulous;
• Good written and verbal communication skills;
• Discretion and integrity;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Self-motivated;
• Experience on Micros is a bonus.
