Job summary

TalentFuse (Pty) Ltd is seeking a skilled finance professional to manage accounting duties from trial balance through to month-end close. The role covers general ledger, journals, reconciliations and reporting for both UK head office and local management.

The candidate will lead regional finance teams across multiple countries, drive process improvements, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts with strong ERP and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree or diploma required with 3–5 years' corporate accounting experience through to balance sheet.
• Experience with foreign exchange accounting and regional finance support across multiple countries.
• Proven ability to deliver management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, with strong ERP and Excel prowess.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for preparation and reconciliation of the trial balance through month-end for statutory and corporate reporting.
• Manage the general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, journals, adjustments and balance sheet schedules.
• Prepare monthly financial and management reports for UK head office and local management with meaningful analysis.
• Provide guidance, induction and training to Regional Finance teams across countries as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, strengthen controls and reduce costs; coordinate continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare annual budget and mid-term financial forecasts.
• Perform detailed variance analysis including MoM, YoY, and actual vs budget.
• Prepare weekly cost forecasts to support planning and decision-making.
