Job summary

Fidelity Services Group in Robertville, Johannesburg, is seeking an experienced Security Operations Manager reporting to the Regional Manager.

The role involves supervising several Operations Managers, ensuring client requirements are met, and overseeing HR/IR matters, fleet management, expenses control, investigations and to ensure the posting of Security officers, that all site security requirements are adhered to and that the Client’s needs are efficiently and professionally met at all times.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
• PSIRA Grade A registered.
• Valid Driver’s License with own reliable transport.
• At least 10 years’ experience in the security industry.
• At least 5 years’ experience in the Operational Security Management structure.
• Sound knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management.
• Staff management experience is required.
• Strong leadership, planning, and client liaison skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• No criminal record or pending cases.

Responsibilities

• Manage several Operations Managers covering client liaison and security operations.
• Ensure site security requirements are met and client needs are professionally addressed.
• Oversee HR/IR matters, fleet management, and expenses control.
• Submit weekly/monthly incident and general reports to management.
• Formulate disciplinary actions and ensure timely employment forms submissions.
• Liaise with Regional Management on operational issues and provide reports.
• Investigate incidents and report findings; ensure ISO 9001:2008 compliance.
