Job summary

TSU Group Holdings is seeking an Area Manager to oversee security operations across multiple branches in the Western Cape, including Paarl, Strand and surrounding areas. You will lead security teams, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive security knowledge and the ability to analyze risks and improve site performance. A-Grade registration, a valid licence and relevant experience are essential.

Qualifications

• A-Grade Registered (Updated) required.
• Valid Driver's license required.
• Matric (Grade 12) required.
• 5+ years managerial experience in the security industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Reside in Strand/Somerset West/Sir Lowry's Pass or Gordon's Bay area OR Paarl/Wellington/Franschhoek/Worcester area.
• Knowledge of BCEA and labour legislation.
• No criminal record; no disciplinary record in last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate security teams across multiple locations within designated area.
• Implement and enforce security policies, procedures and protocols to maintain safety.
• Conduct regular site visits and facilities inspections to address security concerns.
• Recruit, train and mentor security staff for roles.
• Monitor team performance and provide feedback for improvement.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and communications.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop emergency response plans.
• Maintain accurate incident records and management reports.
