You will manage social media channels, monitor public sentiment, and coordinate press events, ensuring messaging aligns with brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in media relations, public relations, or communications.
• Proven experience in writing press releases and other communication materials.
• Strong understanding of the media landscape in the Northern Cape region.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in social media management and content creation.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of regional development initiatives is an advantage.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Upington, Northern Cape.
