Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in operations supervision within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading and motivating operational teams.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in relevant operational software and MS Office.
• Ability to work effectively in a demanding hands-on environment.
• Experience within the Mahikeng, North West region is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operational activities and production processes within the designated region.
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of operational staff, ensuring performance standards are met.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks and orders.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and quality control procedures.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods within the operational area.
• Identify and resolve operational issues and bottlenecks promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and quality assurance, to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain operational records and reports, tracking key performance indicators.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the operations department.
