About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Regional Operations Director to oversee operations across multiple sites in the Gauteng region, with a primary focus on the Centurion area. This senior management position is responsible for driving operational efficiency, profitability, and service excellence across the assigned region. You will lead a team of operations managers, ensuring consistent execution of business strategies and upholding our client's high standards. This is a pivotal leadership role for an experienced executive aiming to shape regional operational performance and contribute to the company's overarching strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional operational plans aligned with company-wide strategic objectives.
• Provide leadership and direction to subordinate operations managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across all regional operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Manage regional P&L, ensuring financial targets are met and operational costs are effectively controlled.
• Ensure consistent service delivery and operational excellence across all branches within the region.
• Oversee risk management and ensure compliance with all local and national regulations.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience (10+ years) in senior operations management, preferably with multi-site responsibility.
• Demonstrated success in P&L management, strategic planning, and driving operational improvements.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience in the relevant industry sector is highly desirable.
