Job summary

Network Finance is seeking an Assistant Regional Financial Manager to support financial operations across a large regional portfolio in Gauteng. You will assist with monthly reporting, reconciliations, and ensuring financial controls across multiple locations.

You will mentor administrative teams, collaborate with senior management on insights, and drive process improvements. The role offers exposure to audits, compliance, and opportunities for career growth within a dynamic retail/FMCG regional

Qualifications

Matric is essential; a diploma or degree in accounting/finance is beneficial.
3–5 years' experience in finance, accounting or financial administration.
Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, audits and compliance.
Multi-site or operational finance experience is advantageous.
Experience supervising or mentoring staff is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Assist with monthly financial reporting, including income statement and balance sheet reviews.
Perform reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Support internal and external audit processes and ensure compliance with financial controls.
Review expenses, analyse variances, and provide recommendations to management.
Assist with stock control processes and stock-take reporting.
Support debtor, creditor, banking, and financial administration functions.
Coach and support administrative teams within the region.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Provide support to the Regional Financial Manager and act in their absence when required.
