Qualifications

• Matric certificate (Grade 12/NQF level 4) or Diploma/Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in sales or customer service, preferably in financial services or insurance.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong background in consultative selling and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Actively seek out and engage new business opportunities to drive sales of financial services and products.
• Identify and pursue leads to build a pipeline of prospective clients.
• Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and consultations with potential clients.
• Achieve sales targets and objectives within the specified region or territory. Manage client accounts and build strong, lasting relationships to maximize sales opportunities.
• Provide exceptional service to both new and existing clients, responding promptly to their needs and inquiries.
• Offer financial solutions tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of clients. Follow up on client requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any post-purchase issues.
• Develop a deep understanding of the company's financial products and services to effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
• Educate clients on the features, benefits, and terms of various financial products and services.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor products.
• Provide expert advice to clients to help them make informed decisions about financial products and services.
• Accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and product/service usage. Prepare and submit regular sales reports and activity summaries to management.
• Complete and maintain client records in CRM systems, ensuring all data is up to date.
• Manage administrative tasks related to the sales process, including proposals, contracts, and service agreements.
• Ensure all sales activities and customer interactions comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.
• Identify and mitigate any potential risks associated with the sale of financial products or services.
• Provide clients with clear and accurate information to avoid mis-selling or misunderstanding of financial products.
• Stay informed about regulator changes in the financial services industry to ensure compliance.
