Job summary

Sanlam Life Ltd in George, Western Cape invites an experienced Broker Sales Manager to lead a regional team of Broker Consultants, drive sales, manage expenses and grow the broker base.

You will recruit, onboard and contract new brokers, develop sales plans, coach BCs, ensure compliance, and manage relationships with brokers and head office. 5+ years in financial services and 3+ years of managerial experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive Financial Services experience, preferably in a broker channel environment.
• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience supervising people and resources.
• Minimum 5 years in a recent SanlamConnect environment (preferably as a Broker Consultant).

Responsibilities

• Form part of the region sales team.
• Recruitment, selection and onboarding of BCs.
• Recruitment, vetting and contracting new brokers.
• Create, drive, monitor and report on sales plans, targets and growth.
• Support broker marketing initiatives.
• Coaching, vesting and development of BC’s.
• Manage BC’s productivity and production.
• Manage service-related escalations with HO.
• Compliance and risk management.
• People and Performance Management, Budgets and expense management.
• Broker relationship management.
