Job summary

Network Finance in Durban is seeking an experienced financial professional to lead balance sheet reconciliations across the group. You will oversee monthly close processes, ensure accuracy, and drive improvements in controls and reporting.

The role requires a qualified CA(SA) with at least 3 years in reconciliations, reporting or financial controls, plus exposure to multi-entity environments and leadership capability. Durban-based, on-site role with a focus on governance.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA(SA) essential.
• Relevant Finance or Accounting Degree.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Financial Management.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in reconciliation, reporting or financial controls.
• Experience in multi-entity or group reporting is advantageous.
• Proven leadership and people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and review all balance sheet reconciliations across the group.
• Ensure reconciliations are completed accurately and within monthly reporting deadlines.
• Manage reconciliations for bank accounts, debtors, creditors, intercompany balances, loans, and assets.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve outstanding items timeously.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Strengthen financial controls and governance, maintain documentation for audits.
