Job summary

Hollywoodbets is seeking a Reconciliations Clerk (Payroll) based in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal. The role focuses on preparing accurate payroll reconciliations and related reporting while upholding strict confidentiality.

You will perform various recons (salary control, bank, provident fund, EMP501, IT14SD) and payroll journals, collaborating with Finance to resolve issues and maintain precise records. Prior payroll reconciliation experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Matric is required and 2 years accounting/related experience preferred.
• Experience in payroll or reconciliations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare payroll reconciliations and related reporting with confidentiality.
• Perform salary control account recons, bank recons, provident fund recons, and EMP501 recons.
• Prepare payroll journals and reconcile to payroll documents.
• Collaborate with Finance to research issues and maintain accurate records.
• Provide payroll reconciliation support to line managers and the finance team.

What You’ll Do For The Brand

• Perform reconciliations timeously and according to advised deadlines to ensure the correct and complete allocation of valid payroll transactions.
• Preparing reconciliations and related reports, including, but not limited to, the following:
• Salary control account recons
• Bank recons
• Provident fund recons
• AOD recons
• Staff debtor recons
• Holds recons
• Terminations recons
• EMP501 reconciliation reports
• IT14SD recons
• Reporting related to recons
• Ad hoc, variance and analysis reporting as required
• Preparing/processing/checking payroll journals and reconciling to payroll documents
• Work closely with the Finance department to research and resolve problems, perform scheduled activities, prepare and maintain accurate records.
• Provide support to line managers and the finance department with payroll reconciliation related concerns and queries.
• Performs other and related duties and general admin as required.
