Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Real Estate Project Manager to oversee construction and renovation projects in Upington and surrounding areas. This hybrid role blends on-site supervision with off-site coordination to ensure timely delivery, budget control, and quality standards.

You will develop detailed plans, manage budgets, lead contractors, ensure safety and code compliance, and report progress to stakeholders in a dynamic Northern Cape environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/CE/Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in real estate or construction.
• Proven track record managing multiple construction projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans with scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Oversee construction and renovation ensuring drawings and specs meet standards.
• Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.

About the Role

Our client, a leading developer and manager of diverse real estate assets, is seeking a skilled and experienced Real Estate Project Manager to oversee projects in and around Upington, Northern Cape . This role is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of construction and renovation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, control, and closure. This hybrid role requires a blend of on-site supervision and strategic off-site coordination, essential for managing projects effectively in the developing Northern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Oversee construction and renovation activities, ensuring adherence to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards.
• Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor project status and address issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Requirements
