Job summary

Tailormade Solution is seeking Reach Truck Drivers for a busy distribution centre in Cape Town during peak season.

Positions are temporary with shift work and require safe operation of reach trucks, accurate stock handling, and flexibility to assist with general warehouse duties.

Qualifications

• Previous reach truck operating experience.
• Valid reach truck operating licence or certificate.
• Good attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently within the distribution centre.
• Move, lift, stack and retrieve stock from warehouse racking.
• Load and offload stock as required.
• Assist with put-away, replenishment and picking activities.
• Conduct daily pre-use inspections of the reach truck and report faults or damage.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and operational instructions.
• Maintain accurate stock handling and ensure products are moved without damage.
• Keep work areas clean, organised and free of obstructions.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.

Reach Truck Drivers – Distribution Centre

Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
Positions Available: Multiple
Employment Type: Temporary / Peak Season

We are recruiting multiple Reach Truck Drivers for busy distribution centre operations in Cape Town for the upcoming peak season.

We are looking for safety-conscious, reliable and experienced operators who can work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and assist with the efficient movement, storage and handling of stock.

Applicants with or without Matric are welcome to apply, provided they meet the essential operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently within the distribution centre.

• Move, lift, stack and retrieve stock from warehouse racking.

• Load and offload stock as required.

• Assist with put-away, replenishment and picking activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.

• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends and public holidays during peak season, as required.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment.
