Job summary

DHL Supply Chain South Africa is seeking a Reach Truck Driver to safely move stock and pallets between locations using RF-connected devices. You will ensure on-time, accurate service delivery and maintain high customer service standards while minimizing losses.

Responsibilities include operating mechanical handling equipment, performing daily inspections, loading/offloading, stock put-aways, RF picking, cycle counts, and ensuring safety and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Reach truck Certificate
• Medical declaration by the Occupational Doctor
• Logistics or warehousing experience
• Team player

Responsibilities

• Operate Mechanical Handling Equipment
• Ensure damages are kept to a minimum
• Daily inspections on MHE and report defects
• Load and offload of vehicles and containers
• Ensure pallets meet stacking standards and are undamaged
• Follow SOPs and safety practices
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
• Keep work areas neat, tidy and obstruction-free
• Prepare orders and load vehicles as prioritized
• RF Picking, Full pallet picking, Replenishment of stock & Picking from Pick face
• Put-away of incoming stock into racking and bulk storage
• Assist with cycle counts & stock counts
• Report non-conformities with customer merchandise
• Adhere to Health & Safety rules
• Maintain high hygiene of the machine
• Work within operating areas as determined by management
• Record non-conformance/incident/damage
• Assist with induction and training of new staff
• Comply with company policies and procedures

• Record number of pallets moved daily and submit spreadsheet
• Do racking inspections as per DHL timelines
