Rhodes University in Makhanda (Eastern Cape) invites applications for a Staff Wellness Officer (Grade 11). The role works with the Total Rewards Manager to coordinate and implement the institutional wellness strategy and manage the service provider relationship.

People and Culture Division
The Division of People and Culture invites suitably qualified candidates to join their team.
Working closely with the Total Rewards Manager, responsible for coordinating and implementing the institutional wellness strategy and managing the relationship with the institution’s wellness service provider. Effective communication ensures staff are aware of the availability of wellness interventions and initiatives. Ensures wellness interventions and initiatives are carried out within the budget provided. Provides back-up support for the Remuneration and Benefits Officer.
Basic Pensionable Salary per annum: R35 338
Cost to Company per annum (Approximately): R569 518
This post is advertised as a permanent post, but the University may opt to appoint on a fixed-term contract of not less than three years.
