Job summary

Netcare 911 Booysendal Mine is seeking an Emergency Care Practitioner to deliver high-quality pre-hospital care on site. You will respond to emergencies within minutes, perform Advanced Life Support according to HPCSA protocols, and document all treatments and patient details for hospital handover.

Essential HPCSA registration with 4 years of post-graduate patient care is preferred; ACLS/PALS/ATLS certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• HPCSA registration as Emergency Care Practitioner is essential.
• 4 years post-graduate patient care experience preferred.
• Familiarity with HPCSA protocols and records management.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all emergency calls promptly; provide Advanced Life Support as required.
• Complete all admin and legal documentation and file with Operations Manager.
• Accurate patient handover to hospital staff per protocol and maintain records.
• Log calls, obtain case numbers, and maintain stock and equipment checks.

Education

Current HPCSA registration as Emergency Care Practitioner (BTech, BEMC, BHSc)

ACLS, PALS and ATLS certifications beneficial
