As our client continues to expand its footprint in the consulting and construction sectors, we are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor with estimator expertise to drive accurate project costing and financial planning. This is a critical role that will directly impact project profitability and operational efficiency in a dynamic environment.

Where You'll Make an Impact

You will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial evaluations for construction projects. Your expertise will support project planning, procurement, and cost control efforts. Collaborating with project teams, you'll ensure estimates align with client expectations and industry standards. You will also be involved in tendering processes, risk assessment, and cost reconciliation to uphold project integrity and profitability.

To succeed, you will need a minimum of three years’ experience in quantity surveying or estimation within the construction or consulting industries. A strong understanding of construction costs, contractual procedures, and relevant legislation is essential. Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software and excellent analytical skills are required. Candidates with a relevant qualification in quantity surveying or a related field will have an advantage.

Nice to have skills include experience with digital estimating tools and knowledge of local building regulations. A proactive approach, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities are vital for success in this role.

Our client offers a competitive basic salary ranging from R40,000 to R55,000 per month (negotiable), along with benefits such as Provident Fund contributions and annual bonuses.
