Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Malmesbury, Western Cape, is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to support the implementation and maintenance of quality and food safety systems. You will verify production sheets, perform QC checks, and assist with audits and training.

The role requires 1-2 years in quality control, a science-related degree, strong communication, and the ability to work shifts. You will contribute to continuous improvement and ensure compliance across departments.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in quality control/ assurance position
• Willing to work shifts
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Verify and sign-off production and quality sheets; report non-conformances
• Conduct online QC checks at the mill and packing lines
• Conduct daily lab equipment verifications & calibrations
• Assist with food safety awareness training to all departments
• Assist with induction training for all employees
• Assist with customer complaints investigations
• Perform daily lab analyses and report results
• Assist with PRPs management and audits
