Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Inspector for their George, Western Cape facility. The role focuses on inspecting automotive parts to ensure conformance with drawings, specifications, and ISO/IATF standards.

You will work closely with production and engineering teams to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement. Based on-site, you will perform detailed inspections, document findings, and support process improvements while maintaining quality records and ensuring

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured automotive parts using measuring instruments.
• Ensure all products comply with quality standards, blueprints, and specifications.
• Identify, document, and report non-conforming products and deviations from quality standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement root cause analysis.
