Placements24 is seeking a diligent Quality Control Analyst to join a Welkom laboratory, ensuring the quality and safety of pharmaceutical products. You will conduct analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using advanced instruments in a GLP/GMP environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy and at least 2 years in a QC lab, with strong instrument proficiency and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related science field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality control laboratory, preferably pharmaceutical.
• Proficiency with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, and Karl Fischer titrators.
• Strong understanding of GMP, GLP, and relevant quality control principles.
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished pharmaceutical products using techniques (HPLC, GC, UV-Vis).
• Prepare reagents, standards, and samples for analytical testing.
• Document testing procedures and results in accordance with GLP and GMP.
• Perform instrument calibration, maintenance, and validation activities.
• Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and participate in deviation investigations.
• Contribute to development and validation of new analytical methods.
