Job summary

SS&C Technologies in Bellville, South Africa, seeks a Quality Analyst to monitor operational controls and drive governance across the business. You will partner with leaders to validate issues, oversee remediation, and leverage AI and automation for scalable improvements.

You will collaborate with Intelligent Automation teams in an Agile setting, defining requirements for dashboards, reporting, and future automation solutions while maintaining a strong focus on control effectiveness and risk

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Bachelor's with 2 years related experience (or high school with 5 years).
• Results-oriented with ability to operate independently and in a fast-paced, matrixed organisation.
• Strong verbal and written communication, including leadership-level reporting and presentations.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking to identify risks, trends, and control gaps.
• Experience documenting, mapping, and evaluating end-to-end business processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operational controls, reports, scans, and workflow outputs to identify risks.
• Analyse data, trends and anomalies to detect control gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Partner with operational leaders to validate issues and oversee remediation plans.
• Track remediation progress and elevate ageing or unresolved actions.
• Perform hands-on execution and analysis of control activities to understand processes and risks.
• Collaborate with business to identify opportunities for new controls and reporting.
• Leverage AI, analytics, and automation to strengthen controls and efficiency.
• Translate business challenges into clear requirements for dashboards and automation.
