Job summary

Expleo South Africa is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to join our Johannesburg hybrid team. You will design, develop, and execute automated test frameworks to validate the quality, performance, and security of banking software solutions.

You will collaborate with Agile teams, utilize Java, Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, and Jira for defect tracking, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is preferred.
• Experience in software quality assurance and automation is expected.
• Strong understanding of QA processes and testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Test planning and strategy for mobile, web, and API apps.
• Create and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Design and implement automation frameworks using Java.
• CI/CD integration with Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Basic performance testing with JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Defect logging and management with Jira.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and report metrics.
