Job summary

MA Automotive Tool and Die (PTY) Ltd is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure that product quality meets process control requirements and to document inspection results. The role involves visual defect checks, measurement recording, and packing according to instruction manuals.

The ideal candidate has a Matric/NQF4, at least one year in manufacturing, and familiarity with press tools or assembly processes. Safety and housekeeping are emphasized on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Ability to use basic measuring equipment and read process control sheets.
• Understanding of packing methods and storage requirements as per SOPs.
• Familiarity with parts used in manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Knowledge of OHS Act and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products against process control sheets and document results.
• Verify parts for visual defects and record measurements.
• Pack items per packing instructions and ensure proper containment.
• Assist with tool changes and resolve simple production line issues.
• Keep measuring equipment and fixtures in good condition and calibrated.
• Maintain clean and safe working environment and follow safety procedures.
