Job summary

You will inspect incoming materials, review COAs in SAP PLM, sample materials, log non-conformances, and assist with allergen management and store inspections. A Grade 12 and a degree or diploma in Analytical Chemistry or Biochemistry are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw and packaging materials for conformity to specifications.
• Review supplier COA against SAP PLM specifications.
• Sample incoming materials per sampling plan.
• Send micro samples to the lab and analyse high-risk packaging material.
• Raise SNCR and QEWO non-conformances.
• Update SNCR tracker and follow up on responses.
• Release finished product stock.
• Block or release RM in SAP and manage stock allocation (Allergen management).
• Check material before issuing to line.
• Check line-side returns and ensure labeling and information is correct.
• Check housekeeping of inbound.
• Inspect hotmelt and chill store.
