Job summary

SGS is seeking a Senior QA/Compliance Auditor Manager in Sandton, Gauteng, to provide technical and administrative support to the Technical Manager and auditors. The role focuses on managing QHSE product requirements, maintaining accreditation for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and ensuring compliance across standards.

You will lead auditing teams, train staff, and engage with external stakeholders to drive quality and safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-year tertiary qualification related to quality, environment or health and safety.
• Proficiency in English.
• 5–10 years’ general work experience in related fields.
• Experience in Project- and Operations Management.
• Exposure to ISO 17021 / 17065 certification environments is advantageous.
• Experience with audit and certification management systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage QHSE Product requirements and lead auditors.
• Provide administrative, IT and audit support to auditors and Technical Manager.
• Plan audits, prepare programs including international affiliates.
• Assist with onboarding resources and sign-off auditors.
• Train staff and auditors to qualify and perform certification competencies.
• Maintain local accreditation for ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
• Conduct audits and prepare audit findings and reports.
• Support Business Assurance activities and KPI achievement.
• Liaise with external stakeholders as required.
• Support BA Academy training material development.
