MVG Recruitment is seeking a QC Manager: Biochemistry in Cape Town to lead the QA Biochemistry team within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will drive testing, validation, stability studies and lifecycle management for compliant, sterile product testing.

The role requires strong cGMP knowledge, regulatory awareness (SAHPRA, WHO) and a track record of improving laboratory capability, data integrity (ALCOA+), and cross-functional collaboration to scale operations and support site

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or related scientific field.
• Minimum 6 years' experience within the pharmaceutical, vaccine, or biotech manufacturing industry.
• At least 3 years' management experience within a QC or laboratory environment.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, GLP, SAHPRA, WHO, quality systems, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing analytical method validation, transfers, investigations, CAPAs, OOS/OOT, and laboratory operations.
• Experience supporting site start-up, commissioning, qualification, technology transfer, or new facility readiness activities will be highly advantageous.
• Non-Negotiable: Extensive experience in GMP Compliance
