Job summary

O'Brien Recruitment is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Supervisor for a Parow-based, full-time, office-driven role in Cape Town. You will lead the QC team, ensure GMP/ISO compliance, and review lab data.

The ideal candidate holds a chemistry-related degree and has at least 5 years in a cosmetics or pharma lab, with 1–2 years in supervision, strong QA/QC systems knowledge, and proficiency with Syspro and QC processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ lab experience in cosmetics or pharmaceuticals
• 1–2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong working knowledge of GMP, GLP, ISO, and QMS standards
• Proficient in lab systems (e.g., Syspro) and quality control processes
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the QC team, including Analysts, Technicians, Samplers, and Administrators
