Job summary

UpMan Placements seeks an experienced Dairy Quality Assurance professional to supervise production quality and ensure compliance with PRP, GMP, GHP, CCP, and OPRP standards. You will audit dairy lines and support continual process improvements.

You will monitor UHT, pasteurization, homogenization, and aseptic filling while coordinating with maintenance for preventive maintenance, calibration, and CAPA. Strong HACCP/GMP knowledge required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 7–12 years hands-on dairy production and QA experience in UHT, pasteurized milk or aseptic filling.
• Technical knowledge of process control instrumentation (flow meters, temperature sensors, pressure gauges, etc.).
• Working knowledge of FSSC 22000, HACCP, PRPs, and GMP requirements with ability to interpret.

Responsibilities

• Conduct production line audits to ensure PRP, GMP, GHP, CCP, and OPRP compliance.
• Monitor dairy processing and filling operations (UHT, pasteurization, homogenization, aseptic filling).
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventive maintenance, calibration, and reliability.
• Investigate recurring quality issues using RCA and implement CAPA.
• Review CIP/COP cleaning validation and hygiene effectiveness via ATP swab testing and inspections.
• Analyze downtime, rework, defects, and losses to improve efficiency.
• Ensure CCP/OPRP monitoring, documentation, and timely escalation of deviations.
• Review and update SOPs/SSOPs and work instructions on hygiene, sampling, and production.
• Train operators on food safety, hygiene, quality standards, and documentation.
• Support yield optimization, process improvement, waste reduction, and first-pass efficiency.

• Train production operators and technicians on food safety, hygiene, quality standards, and documentation.

Preferred candidate profile
