Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Software QA Engineer with strong manual testing expertise and hands-on Playwright automation.

The role focuses on ensuring quality, reliability, and performance of software solutions, including AI-powered applications, within an Agile environment. Responsibilities include designing test cases, executing various testing types, developing automated tests with Playwright, tracking defects, and delivering comprehensive QA reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant tertiary qualification.
• ISTQB Foundation Level Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyse user stories and acceptance criteria for quality.
• Design, document, and execute test cases aligned to criteria.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain Playwright-based automated tests.
• Log, track, retest, and manage defects throughout the lifecycle.
• Produce QA reports and maintain test evidence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support release readiness.
• Identify opportunities to improve QA processes and automation frameworks.
