Job summary

BeingIT is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join a high-performing Agile delivery team supporting a major client in Durbanville. The candidate will develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and implement UI and API tests using Playwright and Postman.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, collaboration with developers, and building scalable automated testing solutions within .NET/C# environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA Automation / Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong experience with Playwright (preferably using C#).
• Experience working within .NET / C# environments.
• API testing experience (Postman or similar).
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Experience working in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks.
• Build Web UI automation using Playwright (C#).
• Develop automated Web API tests using Postman.
• Implement automated data comparison and baseline validation testing.
• Create and maintain Azure DevOps Test Suites, Test Cases and Bugs.
• Design, maintain and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Estimate, prioritise and coordinate testing activities.
• Develop automated test scripts aligned with QA best practices.
• Collaborate as an active member of an Agile development team.
