Job summary

Glacier by Sanlam is seeking a QA Competency Lead to develop, implement, and maintain its test automation framework while supporting IT development teams. The role focuses on ensuring robust regression testing coverage and high-quality automation deliverables.

Qualifications

4+ years experience in automation scripting and automation tools.
5+ years Functional testing experience.
Experience with Selenium, SpecFlow, Visual Studio, Appium and Desktop Automation.
Knowledge of SDLC and Testing Life Cycle; Scrum Methodology.

Responsibilities

Create and run automation scripts.
Collaborate with lead testers, test analysts, developers and architects to ensure automated regression testing coverage.
Investigate defects and log defects when required.
Distribute automation reports regularly.
Maintain automation libraries and services; map controls to application code.
Support IT development teams to meet sprint testing goals.
Mentor junior automation engineers and optimize scripts for maintainability.
Provide input to automation strategy to increase value in functional testing process.
