Job summary

Open Box Software is seeking a QA Analyst to join a permanent, intelligent team focused on solving real problems and sharing knowledge. You will review requirements, create test artefacts, and validate complex applications against client specifications.

You should have 2–3 years QA experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and be comfortable working with stakeholders. Salesforce and T-SQL knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Software oriented degree or equivalent is advantageous.
• Minimum 2-3 years QA experience.
• Experience with manual testing (automation is advantageous).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work with business stakeholders and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review and sense check business requirements and design documents.
• Create and manage test documentation including test cases and checklists.
• Test complex applications with intricate business logic against specifications.
• Identify, document and track defects through testing.
• Maintain training manuals for applications.
• Manage and document system change processes.
• Operate within agile and waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Research and develop the company’s QA process.
• Investigate and document better practices/alternative solutions.
