Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a purchasing or procurement role within the mining industry.
• Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and warehouse compliance procedures.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure goods and services in line with operational needs and budget requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
• Use procurement and inventory systems in accordance with company policies.
• Oversee inventory control, review MIN/MAX levels, and manage obsolete or slow-moving items.
• Raise, review, and process purchase orders.
• Monitor open orders and resolve delivery or supply issues as needed.
• Liaise with suppliers to evaluate pricing, lead times, and product quality.
• Coordinate supplier deliveries and resolve shipping issues.
• Inventory checks to maintain accuracy.
• Assist Accounts with invoice matching, receipting, and discrepancy resolution.
• Reporting as required.

Key Responsibilities
