Job summary

Primeserv Group Limited is seeking a capable operations leader to control and manage the engineered pumps plant. You will ensure compliance with quality standards, oversee safety, planning, and continuous improvement, while driving productivity and staff development.

Key duties include implementing CIP to reduce costs, developing work instructions, and managing all aspects of manufacturing and quality in the pumps division.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent Diploma/Degree in Operations Management or Mechanical Engineering.
• Fitter and Turner Trade will be advantageous.
• 5-8 years experience in manufacturing; pumps experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control and manage the operational function of engineered pumps manufacturing to meet technical and quality standards.
• Oversee health, safety, housekeeping and environmental compliance.
• Plan work schedules, monitor overtime, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead training and development and manage performance reviews.
• Apply CIP methods to minimise costs and drive productivity; develop work instructions and toolbox talks.
• Support daily functions and assist colleagues as required.
