Job summary

About the role

Lead a collaborative editorial team to create and deliver high-quality legal content for the U.S. market. You’ll manage content development, implement modern workflows, and champion innovative practices, including AI-enabled solutions, to improve speed, quality, and scalability.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality content: Ensure timely, accurate, and relevant content that meets business goals and customer needs.
  • Manage resources: Oversee budgets and enforce best practices for quality and efficiency.
  • Lead and develop the team: Recruit, coach, and support team members; foster an inclusive and growth-oriented environment.
  • Drive innovation: Promote AI-assisted content creation and standardize workflows for future-ready products.
  • Use data for improvement: Monitor performance metrics and apply insights to enhance processes.
  • Collaborate across teams: Work with editors, operations, product, and technology teams to unlock new opportunities and improve customer experience.
  • Model the culture: Encourage learning, clear decision-making, and accountability.
Experience
  • Law degree (LLB/JD or equivalent).
  • Editorial or content development experience in publishing, media, or legal fields.
  • Leadership experience (3+ years preferred) with a focus on coaching and team development.
  • Strong organizational and process-management abilities.
  • Comfortable using data to inform decisions; proficiency in Excel.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to influence in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience with content management systems, XML, vendor management, and AI tools in editorial workflows (preferred).
