Placements24 is seeking a Management Consultant to join our advisory practice in Benoni on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on delivering strategic and operational support to public sector clients, helping improve service delivery and drive efficiency within government operations.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of consulting or public policy analysis experience, with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in consulting, public policy analysis, government operations, or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analyses of public sector operations, identifying challenges and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop strategic recommendations and implement actionable plans to enhance public service delivery and organizational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with government officials and stakeholders to understand needs and build consensus.
• Assist in the design and implementation of policy initiatives and program evaluations.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and proposals for public sector clients.
• Stay informed about relevant public sector policies, trends, and best practices.
• Support business development efforts within the public sector practice.
• Work effectively in project teams, contributing to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
