Placements24 is recruiting an Associate Management Consultant to join our client’s public sector advisory practice in Pretoria. The role focuses on advising government agencies to improve service delivery and operational efficiency, with involvement in strategic reforms and public value enhancement.

You will contribute to projects addressing societal challenges, working in a dedicated public sector team, and gaining exposure to diverse policy development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in public sector advisory, policy analysis, or government operations.
• Strong understanding of public sector challenges and reform initiatives.
• Excellent research, analytical, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively in team environments and communicate complex ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing public sector operations and service delivery models to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support the development of strategic plans and policy recommendations for government entities.
• Contribute to project management activities, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Engage with public sector stakeholders to understand their needs and facilitate solution development.
• Prepare documentation, presentations, and project deliverables for client review.
