Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator - Health Initiatives to support public health projects in the Limpopo province, centered in Polokwane. The role involves planning, execution, and monitoring of initiatives aimed at underserved communities.

You will collaborate with healthcare professionals, community leaders, and partner organizations, manage timelines and budgets, collect data, and report progress to the project manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, health sciences or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of project coordination/management experience.
• Strong understanding of public health principles.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience with data collection and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and implementation of health initiatives across Limpopo.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Liaise with healthcare providers, community leaders, and partner organizations.
• Organize and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
• Monitor project progress and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collect and analyze data related to activities and outcomes.
• Prepare progress reports for the project manager and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and organizational policies.
• Assist in the development of project documentation, including proposals and reports.
• Support outreach and engagement efforts within the communities served by the health initiatives in Polokwane.
