Job summary

Labour in Postmarsburg is seeking a Client Service Officer for Public Employment Services to render registration services for work-seekers on ESSA and to handle administrative tasks related to work and learning opportunities.

You will refer job seekers for employment counselling, provide administrative support for filling opportunities, and participate in advocacy sessions as required to promote access to services.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
• Knowledge of Departmental Policies, Procedures and Guidelines.
• Knowledge of Labour Legislation and Regulations, Employment Services Act, Public Service Act and Batho Pele Principles.

Responsibilities

• Render registration services of work-seekers on ESSA.
• Render registration administrative services of work and learning opportunities on ESSA.
• Refer work seekers for Employment Counselling services.
• Provide administrative support with the filling of work and learning opportunities.
• Render general administrative duties and participate in advocacy sessions as required.
