Job summary

Edgexec (Pty) Ltd is seeking Property Hosts to support a growing short-term rental portfolio across Johannesburg and Pretoria. We welcome both Junior and Senior candidates who are customer-focused, highly organized, and capable of coordinating frontline operations with housekeeping, maintenance, and finance teams.

As a Property Host, you will manage guest communications, oversee check-ins/outs, ensure properties are guest-ready, and help maintain high standards and efficient operations across

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in short-term rentals, hospitality, serviced apartments, hotels, or property management.
• Experience using Property Management Systems (PMS) to coordinate guest services and property operations.
• Strong communication with guests and proactive problem solving.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple properties and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for guests before, during, and after their stay.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while resolving guest enquiries and concerns.
• Coordinate smooth guest check-ins and check-outs.
• Ensure every property is guest-ready before arrival.
• Conduct pre-arrival, post-departure, and routine quality inspections.
• Coordinate housekeeping, maintenance teams, and external suppliers.
• Assist with onboarding new properties into the portfolio.
• Maintain operational records, reports, and scheduling activities.
• Work closely with Portfolio Managers, Operations, Finance, and other internal teams.
• Ensure company standards and operating procedures are consistently maintained.
