Job summary
WSP is seeking a highly experienced Property & Buildings Digital Lead to drive digital transformation across Africa. You will shape and implement the digital strategy, develop client-facing digital solutions, and enable sustainable growth through technology, data, analytics, BIM, digital twins, automation, and location intelligence.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; disciplines include Digital Technology, Engineering, Built Environment, Design, Management or related field.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience delivering complex projects in client-facing environments.
- Demonstrated experience in Property & Buildings sector.
- Strong background in digital strategy, transformation, advisory, or digital project delivery.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic problem-solving; able to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness and business development capability.
Responsibilities
- Lead Digital Strategy and Governance across Africa for the Property & Buildings line.
- Champion and implement the digital strategy across Africa.
- Develop and maintain annual Digital Business Line Plans aligned with regional/global priorities.
- Drive governance, prioritisation, and performance management of digital initiatives.
- Identify and manage digital, commercial, delivery, technology, and data governance risks.
- Drive Client-Facing Digital Growth and build relationships with key clients and assets owners.
- Lead digital discovery sessions, workshops, and value proposition development.
- Support business development with innovative digital solutions for clients.
- Develop repeatable digital offerings, methodologies, and demonstration environments.
- Enable Digital Delivery Excellence; improve delivery quality across multidisciplinary teams.
- Promote BIM, digital twins, GIS, location intelligence, automation, and advanced data solutions.
- Develop strategies for digital platforms and technology investments; oversee adoption of Autodesk, Bentley, GIS tools.
- Collaborate on AI, data governance, integration, and platform roadmaps; support commercial models and pricing.
