Job summary

Ligpos Employment Agency is assisting in finding a Projects Engineer for a key client in Gauteng. The role focuses on managing engineering projects from conception through delivery, ensuring milestones, quality, and safety standards are met.

You will provide technical support to the Senior Projects Manager and lead a multidisciplinary team. The incumbent will oversee planning, design, budgeting, and procurement while maintaining strict SHERQ adherence and ISO 9001:2015 compliance.

Qualifications

• Academic: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Three to five years of engineering experience.
• Master’s degree in engineering or project management is an advantage.
• Registered Pr. Eng. (ECSA) is an advantage.
• Solid foundation in engineering principles, concepts, and practices.
• Effective verbal and written communication; ability to convey complex technical information.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, timelines, and budgets.
• Review engineering drawings and plans; resolve technical issues.
• Oversee resources, procurement, and vendor interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
• Coordinate with managers to provide stakeholder updates and reports.
• Lead project teams and ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
