Work Africa in East London, Eastern Cape, seeks a Projects/Contracts Manager to lead drywall, ceilings, partitioning and interior finishes on commercial projects.

The role involves reading drawings, preparing BOQs, evaluating subcontractors, coordinating multiple trades and delivering on time and within budget with quality finishes for TI, retail, warehouses and offices.

PROJECTS/CONTRACTS MANAGER (Drywall | Ceilings | Partitioning | Interior Finishes) – EAST LONDON

Must have substantial hands-on experience in the construction and interior finishing environment, including:

• Drywall systems; Ceilings; Partitioning; Bulkheads and feature ceilings

• Shopfitting / interior fit-out

• Painting and associated finishing trades

• Flooring and other related finishing works

• General commercial building finishes

Strong experience in commercial construction, tenant installations (TI), retail, warehouses, offices or similar projects will be advantageous.

Qualifications

· A relevant qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building, Project Management or a related field will be advantageous.

· Relevant industry experience and proven project delivery capability will also be considered.
