Job summary

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of practical quality and engineering experience, with a background in electronics, RF or mechanical engineering and exposure to regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain project quality and inspection plans.
• Review drawings, specifications, test procedures and manufacturing documentation.
• Ensure quality requirements and acceptance criteria are clearly defined.
• Maintain accurate project quality documentation and records.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems, engineering standards and contractual requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, production readiness reviews and project gate reviews.
• Support testing, verification and quality inspections.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and industry-specific requirements.
• Identify and manage project quality risks.
• Investigate non-conformances and determine root causes.
• Implement corrective actions and manage concessions.
• Resolve technical quality concerns and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead or support internal audits, supplier reviews and process audits.
• Prepare quality reports, status updates and first article inspection documentation.
• Support customer, government and third-party audits and inspections.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, production and supply chain teams.
• Engage with suppliers and customers to address quality requirements and concerns.
• Provide quality guidance, coaching and decision-making support to project teams.
• Promote proactive quality management throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Purpose:

To ensure project quality requirements are clearly defined, implemented and maintained throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to final delivery, while ensuring compliance with technical, customer and industry standards.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education (essential):

• Relevant engineering Degree in Electronics, RF, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.

Minimum applicable experience (years):

• 8+ years' relevant experience in quality and engineering.

Required nature of experience:

• Practical quality and engineering experience.
• Project quality planning, inspections, audits and supplier quality.

• Exposure to international customers, suppliers or project teams advantageous.
