About the Role

Our client, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving livelihoods in the Northern Cape , is seeking an experienced Project Manager for their Social Programs . This individual will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of various community-focused initiatives aimed at economic empowerment and social development. Working in a hybrid capacity, you will collaborate with teams both in the field and remotely, ensuring projects meet objectives, timelines, and budget constraints. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of project management methodologies, and a deep commitment to creating sustainable positive change in communities like Upington .

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the end-to-end management of social program projects, from initiation to closure. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among all stakeholders. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery. Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability. Report on project status, achievements, and challenges to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Social Sciences, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on social or community development programs. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong understanding of project management software and tools.
