Job summary

WSP USA Midrand seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to act as the electrical engineering technical authority within the Energy business, providing leadership, governance, and expert input on complex energy projects.

The role requires a BEng / BSc in Electrical Engineering and 15+ years of experience in electrical design and project delivery, with proficiency in high-risk decision-making, client advisory, and bids. Strong SHEQ alignment is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Define and oversee electrical design strategies, standards and best practices.

• Advise clients and project teams on complex electrical engineering challenges.
• Contribute to work-winning, bid strategies, and technical proposals.
• Mentor senior engineers and support capability development within the discipline.
• Ensure alignment with safety, SHEQ and quality frameworks.

Key Role
