Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business or related field.
Minimum 6 years' experience managing IT and digital projects.
Proven track record of delivering technology solutions and digital transformations.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and software development lifecycles.
Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, execution and delivery of IT and digital projects within scope, time and budget.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead IT and digital transformation projects in Mahikeng, North West . This role is critical for guiding the development and implementation of innovative technology solutions that drive business growth and efficiency. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IT systems, digital strategies, and agile methodologies, coupled with exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills to deliver transformative projects within the region.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT and digital projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and budget control.
Facilitate collaboration between IT teams, business units, and external vendors to ensure project success.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement timely corrective actions.
Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes effectively to all stakeholders, including senior management in Mahikeng .

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; PMP or Agile certification is highly preferred.
Minimum of 6 years of experience managing IT and digital projects, preferably in the North West province.
Proven track record of delivering complex technology solutions and digital transformations.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and digital platforms.
Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
